Since 1936, the Associated Dance Teachers of New Jersey (ADT-NJ) has been bringing dance educators together, providing opportunities for professional growth, and supporting teachers, studios, and students across New Jersey.

The application below will help us learn a little about you and your dance background so that a member of our Board of Directors can personally reach out, answer your questions, and guide you through the membership process.

​

New members must either complete the required ADT-NJ testing process or provide proof of current Dance Masters of America (DMA) or Dance Educators of America (DEA) certification. All new members are also subject to approval by the ADT-NJ Board of Directors.

​

Membership dues are $100 per year. A one-time, non-refundable $35 application fee is required to begin the membership process. Annual dues are paid after testing/certification and Board approval.
